Madalina Lazar was born in Medgidia (Constanta) in 1982

Currently living and working in Bucharest

Studies:

2009 – studying for PhD in Visual Arts at the National Arts University of Bucharest

2005 – 2007 – Master’s degree in Visual Arts at the National Arts University of Bucharest

2001 - 2005 – Graduate of the National Arts University of Bucharest -

1997 - 2001 – Graduate of the National Arts High school Nicolae Tonitza, Bucharest 

Activity:

2007 – founding member and artistic counselor for the Atelier 35 Association ( www.atelier35.eu & http://atelier35.blogspot.com).

2006 – member of the Bucharest branch of UAP

1999 Second prize in painting and the UAP Special Prize at the National Arts Olympics in Craiova.

1998 First prize and the UAP Special prize at the National Arts History Olympics in Odorheiul Secuiesc.
